Questions
When do I pay, and how much?
A deposit today, set by your order total: $50 under $300, $100 for $300–$699, and $200 for $700 and up. It counts toward your price. On Fri, Nov 20 we email a secure Stripe link for the rest, plus sales tax on the full price. It's due Mon, Nov 23. Nothing is charged automatically.
You choose (by Wed, Nov 18).
Pick a planter or bed kit, your style, size and options, and pay the deposit on Stripe's secure page. Orders close Wed, Nov 18 at 11:59 PM.
Change your mind until Fri, Nov 20.
Cancel by then and we refund your deposit in full. On Nov 20 we email a secure link for the balance plus sales tax.
Balance due Mon, Nov 23.
If it isn't paid, we release your spot and refund your deposit. We buy your pots and plants only after this.
Can I get my deposit back?
Yes, in full, if you cancel by Fri, Nov 20. Just reply to any of our emails. After that the deposit isn't refundable. If we can't deliver, we refund everything you paid.
What if I don't pay the balance by Nov 23?
We release your spot and refund your deposit.
What if the planter I want is full?
Its card will say "Full for December." Email akeery+garden@gmail.com and we'll tell you if a spot opens up before Nov 18.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay each amount yourself from the link we email. In January we'll email you about refreshing your planter for the next season; you only pay if you book.
What's included?
The pot (yours to keep), plants and greens, the decorations shown for your planter, soil, delivery and placing it at your door, and a care card. Ornaments are included on the tall planters.
How long will it look good?
The live plants (boxwood, cyclamen, ivy) keep going with regular watering. Fresh-cut greens, magnolia and eucalyptus fade within weeks, not all winter. Choose faux magnolia and eucalyptus if you want them to last the season, at no extra cost.
How do I look after it?
Your care card covers watering.
We check in by email.
We ask about your entry's light and colors, where you'd like the planter, and set your delivery day. A photo of your entry (or your own pot) helps.
Planters arrive Dec 1–5.
Christine and our helpers build them; we deliver and place them at your door with a care card.
Bed kits arrive Dec 7–12.
If you asked for planting, the contractor plants on dates he sets with you.
Do you need to get onto my property?
We place planters at your front entry, so we need to reach your front door. When we email to set your delivery day, tell us about any gate or code. For your own pot, it needs to be empty and at the entry.
Can you plant into my own pot?
Yes, at the your-own-pot price. Send us a photo; we confirm it fits before your balance is due.
Do you plant garden beds?
We deliver bed kits for you to plant. If you'd rather not, the licensed landscaping contractor we work with can quote and plant it, and bills you directly.
Where do you deliver?
ZIP codes 94526, 94506 and 94507 (Danville and Alamo).
